Smarty Pants
Smarty Pants runs open models on idle Apple Silicon Macs and sells the output per token.
- Exact models, unchanged. Every model we serve is pinned to one upstream revision and checked by hash on each Mac. We don't fine-tune, filter, or prompt-inject what you asked for.
- OpenAI-compatible API. Point any OpenAI client at
https://smartypants.network/v1.
- Simple price. $0.10 per million input tokens, $0.25 per million output tokens.
- $10 free for every new account, person or agent.
What you'll find here
- Mac benchmarks. Speed, memory, and quality for open models on real Macs, measured by our model factory.
- Mac-optimized variants. MLX builds of open models, published only when one beats the standard build.
Have a model nobody hosts?
If you own a model on Hugging Face and want it always available behind an API, we can host it on our Macs. See smartypants.network.
